Career History

I graduated from Warwick University and joined in 1981 as a newly qualified solicitor and became a partner in 1984.  Since joining Neves in 1981, I have specialised in divorce and family law and I am also a trained Collaborative Lawyer.  I am a member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel and a member of Resolution.  I am also a Notary Public.

Recent Cases

The range of issues dealt with in family law is very wide and my experience includes, but is not confined to:

  • Prenuptial agreements
  • Divorce and Dissolution of Civil Partnerships
  • Residence and Contact
  • Adoption
  • Special Guardianship
  • Inheritance Act proceedings
  • Children Act proceedings relating to property
  • Disputes between former cohabitees
  • Injunctions

I am also a Notary Public. Please visit the Notarial page for more information.

What makes me human

I recently retired from serving for 8 years as a school governor and am regaining my life by enjoying more frequent trips to the theatre, concerts and talks as well as catching up on books I have missed and spending more time with my husband. I am hoping my garden will benefit from more loving attention. I am a failed bridge player.
