Neves Solicitors are pleased to be sponsoring the Silsoe Stride in 2019.

This event is an annual 5K Adult Race, 10K Adult Race and Children's Fun Run which takes place on 30th June. Set within the magnificent grounds of Wrest Park and neighbouring farmland, this event provides a very scenic 5K and 10K race, ideal for runners of all abilities including those new to running, with a gently undulating route where you can Run, Walk or Jog. 

Lolly from MK-Act came along to our Milton Keynes office today to collect our donation to their charity of £500. 

MK-Act is the specialist domestic violence service for Milton Keynes. The charity works with over 100 families’ everyday to help them move on from fear and abuse. 

This year our Harpenden office has made their Christmas donation to support The Rennie Trust Hospice which is their local hospice.

We are sponsoring a night nurse for one night – 28/12. Apparently the Rennie Trust Hospice is the only one in the country which offers this service - a nurse on call at all hours, in the country.

We are delighted to have been ranked in the Legal 500 United Kingdom this year for our Commercial and Company Law!

Supreme Court RulingOn 18th April 2018 the Supreme Court allowed the appeal in the matter of Morris-Garner and another (Appellants) v One Step (Support) Limited (Respondent). This judgement which can be found on the supreme court website clarifies and determines the remedies of damages in certain types of disputes and confirms that the underlying principle for the award of damages in breach of contract claims is to restore the non-defaulting party to the position that they would have been if the breach had not occurred
